Sara has extensive experience in intellectual property (IP), specializing in trademark prosecution and enforcement across Serbia and the wider region. Her practice includes advising clients on clearance, portfolio management, and enforcement strategies, as well as handling complex infringement matters before courts and administrative authorities. She also handles matters relating to the protection of geographical indications in multiple jurisdictions.

She represents a diverse client base, including multinational companies and emerging businesses, with particular experience managing large trademark portfolios in the pharmaceutical sector and other industries such as fashion and food and beverage, and acts on their behalf before the court, the intellectual property office, and the customs and market inspection authorities.

Throughout her career, she has been involved in significant IP matters, including a landmark case before the Serbian Supreme Court that resulted in the prohibition of transit of goods infringing IP rights through Serbia. She also advises start-ups on the development, protection, and commercialization of their IP assets.

Sara is recognized as an expert in intellectual property by various international legal ranking organizations, including Legal 500 and MIP IP Stars.

Prior to joining VP-IP Zatezalo, Krnetić and Partners in 2026, she worked at CWB/ex-Petosevic for 12 years.

She passed the bar examination in 2017 and holds an LL.M. from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade.
